We use the information we collect to: provide and perform drug and alcohol testing services in compliance with 49 CFR Part 40 and applicable DOT agency regulations; process and report test results to authorized parties; deliver training programs and issue certificates of completion; process payments and manage billing; communicate with clients regarding appointments, results, and services; comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests from government authorities; and improve our services and website experience.
Drug and alcohol test results are strictly confidential. Results are disclosed only to: the tested employee (upon request); the employer or designated employer representative (DER) as required by DOT regulations or the service agreement; a Medical Review Officer (MRO) as part of the testing process; a Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) when required for return-to-duty evaluation; courts, law enforcement, or regulatory agencies when required by law or court order; and other parties as expressly authorized in writing by the tested individual. We do not disclose test results to unauthorized third parties under any circumstances.
Information collected in connection with training enrollment and completion is used solely to administer the program, issue certificates, and communicate course updates. We do not share student records with third parties except as required by law or with the student's written consent.
We implement industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. All electronic records are stored securely and access is restricted to authorized personnel only. Physical chain of custody documents are stored in accordance with DOT recordkeeping requirements.
We retain drug and alcohol testing records in accordance with the retention requirements of 49 CFR Part 40 and applicable DOT agency regulations. Training records are retained for a minimum of 3 years following course completion. Other personal information is retained only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy or as required by law.
We may share information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our business, such as laboratories, Medical Review Officers (MROs), payment processors, and learning management system providers. These providers are contractually obligated to maintain the confidentiality of your information and may not use it for any purpose other than providing services to us.
